Laserscope's PDT system includes the high-power tunable 600 XP Series Dye Module, providing 7 Watt output, and the KTP/YAG XP surgical laser - two wavelengths - as pump system at 532 nm.

The Dye Module can operate from 624 - 670 nm (732 nm) to activate PHOTOFRIN™ or other photosensitizers. Laserscope's 600 XP Series Dye Module has several specific advantages over alternative PDT energy systems.

This module is the most powerful medical PDT light source available for activation of photosensitizers while being easily movable.

The high-power KTP/YAG™ fiberoptic surgical laser
is used separately for a broad range of procedures
when the Dye Module is not in use
